Aung San Suu Kyi's Address to U.S. Congress

Nobel Laureate and Burmese Opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi received the Congressional Gold Medal for her commitment to democracy, peace and human rights on Wednesday. The medal is the U.S. Congress' highest honor. Suu Kyi is on a 17-day U.S. tour and met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the State Department on Tuesday. In 1991, she was under house arrest when awarded the Nobel Peace prize. She accepted the award in person June 16, 2012 in Oslo, Norway. Full Version
